Frozen : about confidence and fear

    Disney's fairy film Frozen was a great success in 2014 and continues to attract children. Claire didn't see the film but knows a lot about the main characters, since there are many derived toys available. Having heard so frequently their names, I wanted to know much more about the plot. So I brought a DVD from the library. I finished it with emotion and admiration.

    It's a big turn in Disney's tradition, although there is always love between princess and prince - or another ideal man. In this film, love is everywhere, especially between family members, between sisters. Anne is the main caracter, who is sincere, brave, determined and wise. But what attracted me more is Elsa.

    Elsa is a modern caracter. The whole movie is a story of her fight to better know herself. Born with the power which can change everything to ice and snow, she was first controlled by the fear to hurt others. After an accident, she wa separated with her sister Anna and passed most of her time in hating herself. Diffrent from other traditional movies, it's not about a fight between evil and goodness. Elsa has a special ability. The snow and the cold are not pictured as something against the beauty of love.

   People are different and someha ve unusual ability. But we are always freighted by such kind of difference. Control not conceal, it's the main idea of the story and this made the song Let it go loved by so many people. It's the power of freedom. When Elsa's secret was discovered, she felt finally free and relieved. We all can admire the beauty of the icy castle and the joy of her freedom. When someone is free and feels confident about himself, he can develop his potential power.

  At the end of the movie, Elsa knows better herself. Love brings the spring back to the kingdom and Elsa makes the place lovelier by showing her magic icy power. People skate with joy and she is happy with herslef.
